1.1 Access Authorization - UPMC QI Project Only
This Tool is exclusively restricted to UPMC personnel actively participating in this Quality Improvement (QI) Project on dehydration management. Access requires a valid 4-digit access code. By entering the correct access code, you confirm that you are:
- An authorized UPMC healthcare professional or team member employed by or formally affiliated with this UPMC QI Project at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh
- Using this Tool solely for authorized QI project purposes and clinical education
- Aware that this Tool is used across multiple clinical settings including the Emergency Department and hospital floors
- Subject to institutional UPMC privacy and security policies
- Authorized to access restricted medical educational materials and QI project resources
1.2 Unauthorized Access Prohibited
Unauthorized access to this Tool is strictly prohibited. Only UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh team members are permitted to share or have access to the access code. Users who access this Tool without proper UPMC QI Project authorization are subject to:
- Immediate termination of access
- UPMC institutional disciplinary action
- Legal prosecution under applicable laws
- Civil liability for damages

This includes use in the Emergency Department and on hospital stations/wards as part of the QI project implementation. Access is restricted via 4-digit access code. Authorized users must:
- Be formally part of the UPMC QI Project on dehydration management
- Have appropriate medical training and credentials for their role
- Be employed by or formally affiliated with UPMC
- Use this Tool only in compliance with applicable medical standards, UPMC policies, and regulations
- Never rely solely on this Tool for patient management decisions
- Understand that clinical judgment and professional expertise supersede any output from this Tool
- Maintain strict confidentiality of the access code
- Not share access credentials with unauthorized persons outside the UPMC QI Project team
- Use this Tool consistently across all QI project settings (Emergency Department and hospital stations/wards)
